The Miracle League of Franklin County uses the game of baseball to enrich the lives of special needs children, adults and their families living in Franklin, Vance, Granville, Warren and northern Wake counties of North Carolina.

Here are some things you should know about The Miracle League of Franklin County, a Non-Profit baseball league:

-The Miracle League of Franklin County has two baseball seasons a year. One in the Spring and one in the Fall.

-We are currently in Phase 3 of construction for its Field of Dreams facilities at Long Mill Elementary School in Youngsville. Since its inception in 2011, a custom-designed field with a cushioned rubberized surface to help prevent injuries, wheelchair accessible dugouts, and a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to wheelchair-bound or visually impaired players, as well as a 1600-square-foot field house with accessible restrooms and concession stand have been built. Once funding is secured through donations, Phase 3 will add a wheelchair accessible playground and 0.8-mile walking trail. You can support these projects by making a tax-deductible donation today.

-There are many ways to connect with the Miracle League of Franklin County. Sign up for our e-newsletter or follow the organization on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the latest news, updates and happenings.

The Miracle League of Franklin County is more than baseball. It gives children and adults with physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities the opportunity to make friends, build their self-esteem and be part of a team.
